Sources of Strength Peer leaders went to the Foothills Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 to participate in a Leadership Retreat with Andy Thibedeau. Andy presented his “Making Care Contagious” Leadership Workshop along with working with the peer leaders on how to be leaders in planning school events. It was a great resource for our peer leaders to assist them with gathering ideas on how to plan field days at the end of the school year, which we are hoping to bring back this year.
On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Andy came to Stamford Central School to do a 2 hour presentation for grades 7-12 promoting school spirit and getting involved in school activities. The presentation was very interactive and our Sources of Strength peer leaders helped Andy with parts of his presentation. It was a great way to head the students into Spring Break with this message.
Sources of Strength is looking to bring Andy back to Stamford in September 2024 to get the school year started off.
