Varsity baseball practice today will be from 3:30-5 at Jefferson. Bus leaves right after school. Varsity softball practice is canceled. Modified baseball practice is from 3:30-5 in the SCS new gym. Modified softball practice is from 5-6:30 in the SCS new gym. The varsity tennis match scheduled for today has been postponed, there is no practice. The varsity track meet in Edmeston is still ON; students still get dismissed at 2:35.

It's Yearbook Club's Fundraiser!
All elementary classes will have their photo taken tomorrow, April 10th. If payment is with the child, then a packet will be sent home with your child about a month after. If payment is not with the child at the time photos are taken, then photos will need to be ordered online at a later date.

Good afternoon, Stamford community. This is Brad Countermine, principal of Stamford Central School calling to inform you that due to unused emergency days, the district will have the following days off: Monday, April 8, Tuesday, April 9, Friday, May 3, Friday, May 24, and Tuesday, May 28. In the event that we use additional emergency days, school will be in session. Students in outside special education placements will be contacted by the special education department to plan for transportation. Please see the website for more information.
Congratulations to the students who participated in the All-County Festival this weekend! After 8 hours of rehearsal over two days, the students put on a wonderful performance. We are lucky to have such musical talent in our school!

Parents of children living in the Stamford Central School District who will be 5 years old by December 1st are invited to register their children to begin Kindergarten in September 2024. Please call Stamford Central School at (607) 652-7301 (ext. 0) by Friday, March 28, 2024 with the child’s name, address and date of birth. Kindergarten screenings will be scheduled at a later date.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Stamford Central School is taking names of children for the joint Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for the fall of 2022. Children in Stamford and Jefferson School Districts who will be 4 years old by December 1st are eligible. Parents who are interested should call their home school district by Thursday, March 28, 2024.
